These exceptional students have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and potential, placing them among the top high school seniors in the nation.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is a highly competitive college scholarship program that honors the nation's most promising students. Finalists met rigorous requirements including exceptional PSAT/NMSQT® scores, a strong academic record, a recommendation from a high school official, an essay, and information about their extracurricular activities and community involvement.

"We are proud to celebrate our National Merit Finalists,” said Hart District Superintendent Michael Vierra. Their dedication to academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and unwavering commitment to learning is truly inspiring. These students represent the very best of our district, and we know they will continue to achieve great things. We congratulate them, their families, and the dedicated teachers who have supported them on this remarkable journey."

National Merit Finalists qualify for consideration for a variety of scholarships. These scholarships are awarded based on a Finalist’s academic record, school and community activities and leadership, and written recommendations.

The Hart District extends its sincerest congratulations to these accomplished students and wishes them the very best of luck in their college endeavors.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS

Regular attendance helps students keep up with the curriculum, build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, and develop a routine that fosters responsibility and discipline. These are essential skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Parents/Guardians, if your child will be picked up early, please email the Attendance Office at [email protected] stating the name of your child, date, time of leaving, and reason for leaving early and have your child pick up their pass from the

Attendance Office located in the Administration Building (next to Reception) during brunch, lunch or in between classes - an “Off Campus Pass” will be given to them and they will be in the office ready to go at the time specified. Unfortunately, we cannot

deliver passes. Please note that absolutely NO LAST - MINUTE check outs. We will not release any students with phone calls and no student will be released after 2:30 p.m.

In the event of an emergency, you may come in to sign your child out through the Attendance Office.
