Principal's Message

Hello Canyon Families,

I want to welcome you to Canyon High School, a California Gold Ribbon School in the award-winning William S. Hart Union High School District. There is a legacy of family generations that have graduated from and remain connected to Canyon High School. In collaboration with Canyon’s students, alumni, parents and community members, we are committed to the success of each and every one of our students.  Canyon provides a rich scholastic environment for our students that emphasizes rigorous academic opportunities, extraordinary co-curricular involvement, and a culture that champions the advancement of student learning,  Our students benefit from high level college prep programs in the core curricular areas of English, mathematics, science, and social studies with access to outstanding arts and world language curriculum. Additionally, they can choose to be involved in our incredible performing arts programs, our nationally ranked athletic programs, our career tech offerings, or one of our exceptional clubs and service organizations.

Staff members strive to provide all students with personal support to reach their fullest potential. We are very proud of the relationships and contributions our teachers, staff, and parents are making in the lives of our students and within this great community. We look forward to working with every student to address their academic, social and emotional needs. We believe a strong relationship with all stakeholders will maximize the learning potential of every student.

Our message to all of our students is “Your Future Starts Here.”  I look forward to meeting you and working hard to help ensure your future is bright.

It’s great to be a Cowboy!
