Support and Services Going into Winter break
Winter break is quickly approaching and we here would like to provide you all with some resources and tools to provide for anyone in need here at CHS. Supporting our families and students with viable resources while school is temporarily out of session is something our staff does impeccably well. We'd like to familiarize our students/parents with professional, national resources they can take with them as they transition to adulthood as well.
Consequently, we've developed the Winter Break Resource Flyer to support students and families in accessing appropriate and nationally recognized programs/hotlines to increase student/family awareness and access over winter break.
Historically, some staff would provide the District Wellness Warmline as a feasible resource to support students during breaks. At this time in our district's mission and juncture, we would like to educate, inform and spread awareness to students and families with best practices and resources to support our student population with 24/7 access and care support.
Our goal is to truly expose our students and their families to access these supports now so they can be knowledgeable of these resources when they transition out of our school district and enter transitional-aged youth status.
